While searching for the answer cc4s2b9x had to respec to Destro and play that for a while, still in fear of getting suspended. Trying everything from the simple re-summon, to letting the demon die, respecing, redoing Torghast with different powers, failing a run, even renaming it (and opening a ticket ofc) - nothing worked! Now, obviously simply playing with a different demon is the easiest solution, but the Felguard is an endgame demon so it's not exactly a great option.
Initially thinking it'd just go away with a game restart, cc4s2b9x had to try and fix it in various way for 5 days! Now, we've seen some Torghast powers escape the tower plenty of times during Shadowlands, but this one is a little special, as the fun little bug quickly became a bit of a nightmare. Cc4s2b9x realized what was happening after 2 dungeons, and decided to get rid of the bug, for fear of getting suspended - except that would prove to be a lot harder than you might think. It very quickly became obvious this was a bug, as the demon went back to its regular stats in safe zones like capital cities. Not having realized this, cc4s2b9x went to do some Mythic+ runs and started noticing Rinnrike the Felguard was a beefy one indeed, still sporting the 440,000 HP and doing around 12,000 DPS, in a +15 key no less! While it's no mystery as to how the demon got the extra stats, with the various Warlock Anima powers in the tower (Pact of Infernal Intimacy, Pact of Thickness), the fact that it retained those stats after some disconnects during the Torghast run is. Cc4s2b9x recently got a LOT more than they were bargaining for from a Torghast run, as their Felguard became a rampaging HP and DPS monster, working in Mythic+ and everywhere else - and they just couldn't get rid of it! Here's one of those too good to be true scenarios that quickly turn into a bit of a nightmare.
